Cooking 101: FISH FILLET WITH TARTAR SAUCE

My husband requested for breaded fish fillets for our dinner. And being an obedient wife, I cooked what he wanted. Since fish and chips is one of my favorite foods, I had fun while I made this. I just look at cookbooks and on the internet when I bake, but when I do simple cooking, I ask opinions from my dad, and I rely on taste, smell and sight.

For the fish, I used Cream Dory. Cream Dory fish is perfect for fish fillets. I cut the cream dory in half and then sliced it vertically. I marinated the fish using calamansi for about 2 hours. And then, for breading, I sued seasoned flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. For the tartar sauce, I used chopped onions, calamansi and mayonnaise.

My husband loved it. :)
