What's in my Make-up Bag

I always bring my make-up bag, wherever I go. I treat my make-up bag as my security blanket. Even if i'll only go to the mall, i will always make sure that i have my make-up bag inside my bag. haha.

So here's my temporary make-up bag. I bought it from EGG.

I love it because it is very spacious. Face products go on the largest compartment. While lip and eye products are placed on smaller compartments.

Face Products (L-R): Revlon Photoready Liquid Foundation; Max Factor Pan Stik Concealer; Revlon Photoready Compact Foundation; Revlon Photoready Powder; Cover Girl Bronzer

Eye Products: Revlon Colorstay 12-hour Eyeshadow; Revlon Colorstay Eye Pencil; Revlon Brow  Fantasy; Max Factor Master Touch Under-Eye Concealer

Lip Products (Top to Bottom): Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick; Nivea Med Protection Lip Balm, Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lipgloss

Other Eye Products: Eye Lash Culer; Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

Other Face Products (L-R): Maybelline Make-Up Remover; Bench Prescribe Facial Absorbent Paper; The Face Shop Sponges

These are all drugstore brands. I'm currently saving up some money to buy department brands. So expect that the contents on my make-up bag will change. :)

Confessions of a Beauty Junkie

There's a world of a difference between a make-up collector and a make-up addict. And I'm the one who takes my love for make-up to the extreme. I really can't remember what was my first make-up purchase, but what i can remember is secretly putting on make-up when i was 10 years old using my mom's make-up from abroad. My mom didn't got me on this addiction, i guess i was just drawn to it. Collecting make-up makes me feel spoiled and pampered, so i always end up buying stuff to be in that zone. I guess i just got it into my system that having all that was part of being a woman. It is also an emotional thing, i feel better using quality make-up on myself. The process is transformative: it makes me feel like someone else- a better version of myself.

I like how make-up adds that extra glow and polish that every girl needs. To me, make-up is a mood enhancer, i feel good after a creamy swipe of lipstick, a mascara or blush. I like how it can make me feel better when i am in a bad mood.  For me, make-up transcends vanity. It is about finding your own beauty and enhancing that. I also love how changing your nail polish can sometimes feel like a total makeover. I love how the right shade can instantly cheer you up. Make-up isn't really about altering the way you look, it's about making you feel good about yourself. There's magic in a tube of lipstick or a bottle of nail polish- but you have to try to believe it. After all, don't we always want to be a better version of ourselves?

This blog will include all my make-up hauls and reviews. This will also include posts about face, hair, and body products, as well as nail polish products. Have fun!
